My friend just bought this morning a 8gb iPhone in North Carolina and its for my mom..its her bday present..i plan on unlocking it and giving it to her and using rogers?

any chance it will have 1.02? or will it be 1.1.1

I bought one 3 days ago and it came with 1.0.2

but if he bought on apple store 90% 1.1.1

I bought 5 iPhones two weeks ago @ Apple Store. 3 are 1.1.1.

I exchanged my week 38 this evening at the apple store and they gave me a week 35 which has no screen issues.
