Friend updated to mavericks and now iPhoto has x on as picture.

Also she can not open up iPhoto either, when she does iPhoto says it can open 9.3.2. I tried going to the app store and updating iPhoto but that wouldn't work. Is there anything else i can do to help them save their photos?

What happened when you tried to update iPhoto ?

(the photos themselves are stored in a Library and won't be lost, anyway. Don't worry).
