Greetings,

In light of the upcoming release of Diablo 3, on May 15, I've created a thread for people to talk about how they can get the most oomph out of their Macbook Airs graphics processor. Apple provided us with a gift, the most beautiful laptop on the planet. This gift did not come without a cost however; the cost of which being the Macbook Air's lightweight GPU.

Theories on boosting performance (updated May 12, 2:48 pm):
  • Lowering resolution in-game, or in 'windowed mode'
  • Applying a light overclock to your system. [unconfirmed]
  • Close all background Apps.
  • Keep your environment cool.
  • Apply the lowest texture settings in-game.

I hope we can come up with a small list of helpful improvements so that Macintosh gamers can enjoy their Diablo experience in a more rich manner.

I like your style.

Here's some obvious suggestions:

- Have at least 4gb of ram.
- Quit all open apps.
- Set all graphics to the lowest possible.
- Keep the air cool.

I have an 11" core 2 duo air and it's amazing how this little computer can play Diablo 3. :D
