From 2011 MBP to 2012 MBA?

Im really considering going from '11 MBP to a '12 MBA now since 8GB is an available option. What kind of performance differences should I expect by this change. My pro is the base 2.3 I5 with 16GB ram with SSD and want to go to the 1.8 I5 8GB ram air.

Well it looks like according to benchmarks that the 2012 base 13" Air actually outperforms the late 2011 base 13" Pro.
