Is that just me ? I take it I’ll get over it.

Loving the new SE which has made me realise how underpowered and slow the 3 was.

Had to make a quick decision on the colour and went for starlight. Didn’t actually realise I hadn’t gone for silver but can’t see much of a difference.

Love how it looks with a brown strap but find the black border jarring. In fact it puts me off using non black faces.

Not a complaint just wondering what others thought and whether I’ll stop noticing it. Guess it’s daft as even the new ultra has it.

That's why I've always stuck to Space Grey, Midnight, Graphite or Space Black. It helps hide the bezel and the screen blends into the case more.

You’re asking us if we think you’ll stop noticing it? Depends on the severity of your OCD, I guess.

The human brain is very good at eventually adapting to and ignoring repetitious stimuli. For example, about 20 years ago, I developed a concerning amount of eye floaters that annoyed the crap out of me. They took over my life. I was assured by an Ophthalmologist that other than being in my vision, they were nothing to be concerned about. Eventually, my brain learned to ignore them. I barely notice that they’re there anymore. Basically, they bothered me until they didn’t. This applies to scratches with me as well.

The point of the story is, you’ll probably learn to ignore the borders over time. The question is, will it be over a few days or over a few years? We can’t answer that for you. Hope this helps.

I know I could take it back but I hate doing that and who knows how long it will take to get a new one.

So I figure in the main I will stick to black faces apart from the white Californian one as that does look great apart from the ridge.
