I went from 4,1 to 5,1. Installed Radeon RX 560 card and Samsung SSD 860 1TB. Installed High Sierra. Boot ROM Version is 144.0.0.0.0. Partition Map Type is GPT (GUID Partition Table). SSD is Apple_APFS. I've used CCC to clone High Sierra from a HDD to the SSD. This is my second effort. On my first effort I updated the SSD to Mojave and it worked okay but my CS5 Photoshop would not open. So I erased the SSD and did the clone again. So I'm back to High Sierra and it works great now on the SSD. Photoshop works fine. Firmware and everything is correct now for updating but I'm sitting here wondering which method of installing Mojave I should use that won't destroy my settings and Photoshop prefs, etc. There are I think 3 install methods! Anyone have any suggestions?
