From iMac to air. Monitor recommendation

hi

I have a iMac retina from 2014 and a MB2017 model. My main use is photoshop and lightroom which most of the time I do on the MB.

I am thinking of swapping all the above for a new Air. What I would need is the following

A large screen to use with the air. I would like the screen to be as good as the iMac. Can people recommend anything. Won’t I need a 5k screen to get the same quality as the iMac?

I also need to be able to plug in 2 USB hard drives and a couple of hardrives via thunderbolt. Is there a good dock for that which works with the air?

I have worked very hard and would like to treat myself. All help appreciated.

Take a look at what Dell has to offer on their site. Their large (27" and 32") 5K monitors are really nice. They're equipped with TB3 USB-C, speakers, HDMI, and other things. Might be a good time to buy while all the sales are going on. There's also LG but IMO, they're overpriced.

Thanks. I am over reading now and for confused. If I want the same resolution as my iMac. Is this the resolution I need?
