From PDF to ebook?

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone out there made an ebook before? I've got all my PDF's ready to go, but not sure how to connect them into one file. Are there any free apps that do this? From there I think Calibre is the best bet to get them on a tablet reader, but just not sure how to connect them at this stage.
Any ideas?

Preview can combine PDFs into a single PDF that you could then convert using Calibre.

That's an excellent suggestion, I've combined PDFs using Preview, and I also use Calibre to transfer eBooks to my Kindle.

Just so you know, most eBook readers like the Kindle do accept PDFs so you don't have to convert them. However, PDFs do seem to look a bit dodgy on Kindles in my experience so it's probably a good idea to spend the 30 seconds and convert them on Calibre
