I've got a 12'' powerbook g4 and i rent a lot of movies for my iphone via itunes. is there a way to connect my powerbook to the tv to watch movies on my big screen?
 
Yes, but in the future, the "search" feature will get you to the answer much more quickly without the need to post.

You need a mini-DVI (or mini-VGA) adapter that suits your TV.
