I found this today on WSJ frontpage:

"Memory-Chip Makers could face criminal price-fixing charges, Newly discolosed e-mail and testimony show what prosecutors believe was a global conspiracy among some of the industry's top firms to cut output and raise prices before a price spike two years ago. Companies that have disclosed they are under investigation include Samsung, Hynix, Micron and Infineon..."

It wouldn't be the first time. I wouldn't be surprised that LCD manufacturers would be under scrutiny as well.
