From where do most macbook/macbook pro problems originate?

I've seen many, many threads about macbook and macbook pro problems, so I'm wondering, did all these people buy from an apple store, online, etc?

It really doesn't matter; the same machines are shipped everywhere. To be precise, all of these problems originate in the factory, if anywhere.

Probably because a large percentage of people buy them in the store. AND, I'd be willing to wager, people who are newer to Mac buy in the store and then are more likely to have problems because they haven't had experience with the platform. Just a possible scenario.
