Is there a way to get an email alert when there is a new story posted on the front page? I check pretty often but wish I could subscribe somehow so when a story comes up I get an email alert. I tried quick search and could not find out how to do it or if it is even doable.

Thanks

A read of this thread might hold the answer(s). Although a lot has changed since then so there might be something better out there.

There is also this, although I have never used this feature.

cool thanks I will give the newsletter a try. Anyone, get the Text message alerts and have anything good or bad to say?

One way to do it would be to subscribe to the front page news feed in Mail, and then click on 'Show in Inbox'. This means anything added to the feed will show up in your main mailbox, and you can look at the count indicator in the dock icon to check for new posts.

Hope this has been some help! :)
