Front Row Alternative For Older Macs

I've just come across iTheater which is/was an open source version of Front Row. Although it uses QuickTime libraries for playback it is slightly more efficient and unlike Front Row, works on Panther and early versions work on G3s too - I've only tried the last version and it works fine on my 1.33 Powerbook.
