Hi!

Proud new owner of a macbook pro!

My question is if/how I can set front row to use my external hard drive for my movies? As I don't want to clog up my newly acquired mac!

P.S. have also done a search!

I put an alias of the video folder on my external in the Movies-folder in my home folder and it works just fine.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Without meaning to sound to much of a newb could you explain how to do this? and what alias function actually does?

You right click on the movies folder in your hard drive (or your hard drive itself if there are only movies on it) and then "Make Alias". Put that alias in the movies folder in your home folder.
An alias is like a link in Windows or also on the internet.
