front row remote for different purposes?

is it possible? for instance i'd be great to use it with powerpoint or keynote slide shows, only for slide switching?

i use my mobile phone's bluetooth for that it'd be much more esthetic to use the remote.

You can use it for Keynote presentations. Also, you can use it for controlling iTunes and iPhoto slideshows etc. even when you're not in Front Row.

It natively works with Keynote and iTunes.

For everything else, there's Remote Buddy.
