I think what I miss more than Front Row is that simpler time in technology. No streaming services, being a new breed of cable cutter, and no smartphone in my wallet to distract me from the joy of walking to Block Buster to rent DVD's of LOST to play on my 2006 mini, my first Mac, used like the future Apple TV, and that simple white plastic remote.
The closest thing to Front Row today is the Home Screen of the Apple TV app, but Netflix won't be there, and it won't see iTunes, DVD player, or photos.
