Frontrow alternatives

I cannot figure out how to run front row without using the remote. I tried holding f10 key and nothing happens. This is a mac mini. I also tried mediacentral and not very happy with it. Is there any other software out there for similar to frontrow/mediacentral. What I dislike about the mediacentral is there isnt enough aspect ratio options to force dvds to play in fullscreen mode, without seeing black part.

Thats odd...

Go to System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Keyboard shortcuts

Front row should be the last one...make it whatever key combination you want
