howdy Folks:

peeking around for a new torrent client - Transmission keeps getting weirder - already crashed my HD with 1.01 - Azureus is still finicky and buggery slow
was interested in Deluge - but appears this has not been designed by a Mac User - will work if you install Ubuntu - dunno if that is what I want ( or worth partitioning my HD to run - if that is possible ) - What of Frostwire - or is this just for smaller stuff - music files ?

cheers in advance:

There's not much choice to be quite honest. You could try xtorrent, but it needs money.

You could try bit rocket, though if you're having issues with transmission you may get them with bitrocket too as they both use libtorrent.

Edit: just took a look at deluge's website. You can install it on OSX natively, but you have to install unix porting software first. You could try that, its much simpler than installing another OS.
