Hey iwas typing an email and all of the sudden my macbook froze. I can't use the mouse. I can't even eject the DVD inside. I have tried taking out the battery. I have tried letting the battery drained. Nothing has worked. Also the mouse will not move. The power button also has to be held down to shut off.

But in the end you could restart the MacBook by plugging the power (battery and AC plug) or holding down the power button?

Does command+alt+esc bring up the force-quit menu or is that frozen too?
i wouldnt worry about the disc not ejecting, thats the slowest part of the system to respond when it's activities are being loaded.
