Alright, I posted on here a while ago about a 3rd gen ipod that kept freezing when I tried to update. I restored it, and all was fine for a few updates. However, it froze again today, and I can't reset it. It's stuck in the do not disconnect mode, and the hard drive is going, but I can't reset it. I'm thinking that, since the hard drive is going, I may just let it run out of battery, then try again.. Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Nope, and I've had it longer than three years anyway.

I figured it out though.
Thanks for your help anyway!

Stupidly enough, I had the hold button on, and forgot to turn it on! haha, it was early.

However, my macbook won't recognize it anymore. I'm going to let it charge up, try it again, then try it with USB. I plug it in with the firewire, it goes into "do not disconnect" mode, but it never comes up on the desktop, or in itunes...
