Does anybody enjoy frozen yogurt? It's like ice-cream but without any fat or cholesterol. It is even has a good amount of your DV of protein.

I love to eat it as I can't eat regular ice cream. It messes with my GI track. :D

I do enjoy it! But be careful, because not all of it is fat-free.

Sometimes you just need that soft, smooth texture instead of the more solid texture of ice cream. And it fills in the gaps of a cone so well... Mmmmm, now I want some!

I would proabably say I like it roughly equally with ice cream. The thing I really like is sorbet. Mmmm, tangy...

Oooo. You know what's really health and really good. Gelatos.
Hmmmm... You know you want some.

mmmm i know. And I'm so lucky I have the best gelato place just down the block from me.

No.

I don't like Ice cream or frozen yogurt. I love popcicles, but not ice cream or frozen yogurt. However lately Ive been haveing some icecream, and I know it's really unhealthy (More so then popcicles i belive) and i'm a little worried.

I find Frozen yogourt even worse then icecream. Maybe I just have not had the good stuff.

Wait. Did you just spell "woot" as "whoot"?

Great. I'm now old enough that words I don't even understand have widely accepted alternative spellings.

You're lucky. I can't eat either anymore. Not even with Lactaid.

Soy Dream or Tofutti for me I'm afraid. :( (Or a non-dairy sorbet).

I imagined it to be more like an owl "whoot"...

I don't know of any reasonably priced gelato around here, so I'm stuck with ice cream. Frozen yogurt isn't bad, especially if it is made right - them Lancaster County folks make some good food - Turkey Hill is a small local brand that I think tastes better than almost anybody else. With some Amish Snickerdoodles.....mmmmm.....

Trader Joe's usually has a couple of decent Gelato flavors on hand at their usual low prices.

EDIT: Rats, they don't have any stores in your general neck of the woods. A bit to the south, a bit to the north...

Of course! I should have known that they have gelato (I presume your suggestion means that it tastes good too) - we go there for dessert items like tortes and such. There isn't one near us, but there is one a mile or so from my parents...who we are visiting this weekend.:D

FWIW. My wife and son like the chocolate one best. From the spoonful I tried it was pretty decent for store bought, but you do have to let it warm up a bit from the freezer.

The Blue Bunny Vanilla is good. Sometimes my local walmart has chocolate, but I have yet to buy some when they do....

Sometimes I feel like fro-yo. But 99 outta 100 times, it's ice cream for me. :p
