Frustrated by the Apple TV app updates

I am not sure why they decided to give it a significant overhaul for a minor upgrade, but they removed the close button overlay in the videos. When I max out the video, I can't even see the three buttons again. Now I have NO BUTTON to close the video I am watching when its fullscreen. I either need to use the menu bar, or Command+W to close the video.

It should show the window titlebar when you move the mouse to the top of the screen like every other fullscreen app, but there seem to be a bug and often the titlebar is not shown properly.

I can see play/pause, subtitles, etc. but no close.
