I've got a late 2008 MacbookPro running Lion 10.7, and FileVault2 enabled.
I was surfing the web when safari suddenly itold me I didn't have a network connection. I decided to reboot, but safari and Thunderbird had to be fc'd. It rebooted, asked for my password, and then got stuck. I have the system configured to boot in verbose mode so I can watch messages as it comes up. One of the error messages I'm seeing now is:
CoreStorage: fsck has finished unsuccessfully for lvg ".....
I'm wondering if this is a problem with FileVault, or just a bad disk. If filevault, I can restore a backup to the disk, otherwise I need to buy a new disk.
I've attached a picture of the screen (taken with my cell).
