I have FTP sharing turned on but I want a certain FTP user account to only be able to access a certain directory when they log in.

For various reasons, I do not want to create a new account without admin rights, nor do I want to have them drop stuff into the Public folder.

I want them to be able to create and delete files in this directory but they will not be able to view any other files or directories higher up in the system hierarchy. I know this probably means editing some system config files by hand but I am not sure what this is called or what to look for when I google it.

Basically like when your domain provider allows you to create FTP accounts for other users and they can only access certain directories.

Running 10.4.10 by the way.

Can anyone help?

Thanx,
Nate
