hello
I am looking for a ftp client for an old mac os 8.0 machine I have, I managed to find one through google called fetch but after stuffit expander opened the .smi nothing happened and it doesn't appear in applications

I need to use it to connect to a ftp server I have installed on my windows to copy files across, since my php powered file upload script came into some limitations with large files

... after stuffit expander opened the .smi nothing happened and it doesn't appear in applications

...
Double-click the .smi file to mount the disk image on your Desktop. Drag the Fetch icon from the mounted volume to your favorite location.

the problem is that stuffit expander grabs the file before I can save it, it is using netscape 4.72
I might right clicking and save link as, might work

damn my memory, it was .sit not .smi
but after downloading it to the desktop, when opened stuffit expander quits a few seconds after and nothing has appeared on the desktop or in applications
