I've been trying to troubleshoot this issue whereby GarageSale can't connect to my FTP account at all.
And so following the troubleshooting instructions from GarageSale here (http://www.iwascoding.com/mediawiki/index.php/Troubleshooting_FTP_Settings), I came to discover that the problem was not limited to just GarageSale. Apparently when I tried to log on through my command line FTP client, the same thing happens!
The problem is not with the server nor my home internet connection however. It obviously works on my Windows box, FileZilla (on my Mac) and CyberDuck. It just seems like the command line FTP client and GarageSale can't work.
This issue has been driving me nuts.
Anyone else knows where I should look next? Any help is much appreciated
