I would like to connect to the ftp server for my webhost with finder so I can sync up my pages. I can connect to it just fine with the connect to server dialog, but I only have read access when I do that. How do I set it so I have write privileges, which I normally have when I connect using another piece of ftp software?

Thanks!

I know it's possible but might involve a trip into the Terminal. Would it not be easier and probably better to just use a free FTP client, like CyberDuck?

Being able to use the Finder Save dialog to save directly to the FTP site is my aim... if anyone knows how to do this, please gimme a hand. :) The terminal doesn't scare me... ;-)

While I have no experience with Automator, perhaps in conjunction with terminal ftp service, there might be a solution.
