I done a search for ftp and found allot of users recommended Cyberduck for a ftp program. I just took a look at it but noticed there was no way to edit files on the server. Is there any others that allow this?

Filezilla is not an option.

Do you mean edit like...change a text/html type file?

I use Yummy FTP....is can do basic server side editing from within the app....however, I use it with BBEdit to open the file from the server in BBEdit...then BBEdit knows that when I save it....Yummy FTP will upload it to the server.

Thanks but reads the application must be installed on your system. Are there no FTP's that have it built in?

Try Transmit. It's available from www.panic.com . When you're looking at a file on the server, one of the options is "edit in Transmit." When you save, it writes the file onto the server.
