FTP wont turn off

Hi all, I can't seem to turn my FTP off. It's allowing connections, using my login name/password. I can assure you that ftp is turned off (unchecked) in sharing, and the firewall is on, and there are no check boxes in that list. Do I have to do something (reboot or something?) I was using, but don't need it anymore. Thanks in advance.

Hmm I don't know what could be wrong here, I just turned on FTP for my machine, used it a few times and then disabled it (via sharing like you), and it turned off listening to port 21 instantly. Perhaps when you turned it off it was in use or something? Best bet would be to restart and hope it corrects itself, at least thats what I would do.
