The past three mornings taking my phone off the charger the battery percentage has only been 97%.

Anyone else noticing this?

My Air often does this on and off.

You should recalibrate the battery "%" gauge.

To do this, run your phone down to below 5% battery. Then charge your phone overnight. Even if it says "100%" in 4-5 hours, leave it charge for a few hours more.

Now your phone should properly register the actual percentage of battery life left.

You can read more about batteries, recalibrating the gauge and so on at:

Specifics about iPhone batteries are here:

It should be good from the factory however. I forgot to say its my new iPhone 4S
