MBP'11 here. I calibrated the battery and all that correctly. It showed 100 percent for a while but then dropped to 99 percent. I drained and recharged it, 100 percent for a while and then 99 percent again.

Do I need to calibrate it again? Or does it just need some discharging and charging every few days?

This is a perfect example of knowing enough to be dangerous. No wonder Apple wants us to focus on the experience and as little on the technical aspect as possible.

It's perfectly normal that your battery health fluctuates up and down over time. It's also perfectly normal that it may not charge to 100% each time. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

That makes no sense.
