Full Dock Isn't Showing?

Hello, I own a Aluminum MacBook (not pro) 2 GHz. I decided to hook it up to an external Vizio monitor. When I do this though, when the TV is the main screen half the dock is cut off at the bottom does anyone know how to fix this?

You have to adjust the resolution: System Preferences > Displays

when i drop the reso, it gets a little pixelated though.

Then match the resolution of the screen, whatever that may be ...

Also make sure the TV is set to dot-by-dot/Just Scan/Pixel Match/whatever means it's matching the input source. 16:9 setting will do what you describe, the other one should help the fit.
