full lion re-install

I want to do a full Lion re-install. I bought it obviously off Mac App Store, and used a site to put it on a DVD, but this was version v10.7, now v10.7.2 is out. Is it ok to go ahead and do a re-install using this?

How do I go about a complete re-install, and format my HDD as I want to get rid of my boot camp partition and re-install that to, as having a few probs with startup disk etc.

Any good easy to follow guides please? All I need to backup is my iTunes and iPhoto which I already have.
