For the same money, and paying the full price for the iPhone, which should I get?

iPhone 6 128 GB

or

iPhone 6 64 GB plus AppleCare+

My only hesitation on AC+ is that I bought it for my iPhone 5 2 years ago and then never had to use it (hence, was $100 that was spent for no reason). I guess it's like any insurance where you hope to never use it.

AC+, like any insurance, is something you have to decide on for yourself as to whether it's "worth it" -- reason being everyone's situations are different in terms of how prone they are to accidents and how impactful an out of warranty service chaw would be.

As for 128 vs 64, buy what you need but no more than you'll use. Paying for unused storage is a waste as you get little of the price difference back when you trade or sell the phone in a year or two.

My choice was 64, no AC.

Unless you need the storage go with the 64GB model. AppleCare+? I don't know, I've never had any kind of insurance on any of my phones and never needed it.

Personally, I am likely to go with an iPhone 6+ 64GB, No AC+. I still have a month to decide.

If you're plunking down that kind of money on something you handle every day, you want insurance pure and simple.

Not at all "pure and simple." The most economical choice is to not have insurance since it is priced to make the insurance companies money.

I better poll would have been a 6 with 128 GB or a 6+ with 64 GB. Both options are the same price but I assume you wanted the 6 because it felt better in your hand than the larger 6+.

I have a 6+ 128 GB so my circumstances would not have been that helpful though;)

well, I ordered up the 64gb version. For my use, I'd be surprised if I fill 1/2 that, but want to make sure I have some extra space. Then I can also add the AC+ within 60 days.
