Full screen compose in Mail

What is up with this non draggable/dismissible compose screen in Maverick's Mail?

I use Mail (, iTunes and Calendar) full screen so that they are easily reachable with the four finger slide. However composing a new email doesn't allow to drag the pop-up window to the side or focus on the main screen. So when I want to retrieve information from other emails I always struggle.

Do you experience these inconveniences? Or in what different way are you using Mail so that this doesn't occur? You thoughts please!

This is just how Mail works. There's nothing you can do except exit full screen an hit compose. This way the windows will be separate and can be dragged.
