Full screen iTunes library

You'll have to align the upper left hand corner and click/drag the diagonal lines to expand the window. No trick.
iTunes can full screen on any machine, just click the green button top left
That switches to mini player
It's not full-screen, as iTunes doesn't have that capability. As you can see at 1:45 into the clip, it doesn't extend to the bottom of the screen.

The green button in Mac OS X is not a full-screen button.
it's just worked on my machine, firefox full screened, itunes too
The only way you can get full-screen with the green button is by modifying Mac OS X:

Other than iTunes and a few other apps, you can get the green button to full screen if you have the app RightZoom.
I've never tried it. One of the things I've discovered in the transition from Windows to Mac OS X is the increased productivity that comes from not using full-screen on everything.
