Full Screen movies on iPhone X

So... It's just me or it sucks that you loose a portion of the screen where the camera and all the light stuff are when on full screen? That for movie watching will suck.

Plus, in order to adapt to the curved screen, some cut has to happen. Be it on movies or to a simple website...

Why not use square corners?

I do wonder how that will be. Personally having the cutout blocking part of my screen when watching videos will annoy me...
I wish they would just have the screen go dark on both sides of the cutout when watching video full screen.
