Sad. Doesn't do that in Apple's marketing materials.
I'm glad full photos are back but such a bummer that they didn't bring it back 100%.
It might depend on how you add the picture to the contact, and the dimension of the image. Take a picture with the camera, then add it directly, if that doesn't work, sync it with the Facebook app or any other contact sync app.
That looks a lot better. The buttons are still pig ugly compared to the iOS 7.0 ones, but never mind.
No sorry, it's hard to get much uglier than iOS 6. The original podcasts app shows how bad design had gotten under Forstall.
