This happened when full screen apps were first introduced a few years ago. It has come back in Sierra. When you are in a full screen app (I have mail, calendar and iTunes in full screen view) and then you swipe back on your mouse to the desktop, the last app you were in stays selected rather than returning to finder or whichever app is on the top of the desktop. Any ideas how to resolve or is it a bug?
