Hi All,

i had been meaning to try this out on my MacBook since i got it but never got around to it and currently it's in the shop with RSS.

I'm wondering if you can run a video in full screen on a second monitor (dual screen) while you work away on the main one?

I'm interested mainly in VLC doing this. I'd be ever so gracious to anyone who tells me whether you can do this or not.

On my old site we had the honoured dancing banana prize but we don't have it here :(

Yes.

In VLC you can select either monitor by going to video > video device and selecting the second monitor.

Not as easy as on windows where you just drag the window to the monitor and it goes full screen on the one it's on. At least it's there though.
