just got the go ahead from the company i work for to completely upgrade our video systems and i need some help/suggestions.
we are going to be upgrading our computer systems (Mac Pros), video systems (currently we use MiniDV cameras) our mic's (just a regular, cheap mic), no lighting etc.
We're gonna be building a mini studio in our office as well as buying stuff for our interviews outside of the studio.
This will be the first time im working with green-screening and im very excited, but im a bit of a novice with that.
Does any one have any suggestions on a good 3 chip camera, hard drive based preferably that would be good for chroma-keying (looking to spend less than $2000).
Any suggestions on working with a green-screen? Ideas on affordable lighting?
How about mics ? We do a lot of sit down interviews and are thinking of lapels ? Any good suggestions for that ?
I'm most concerned about getting a good quality key from the green-screen. Anyone whose worked with one/or built one before have any suggestions on the best way to make your own or the best lighting methods or shooting methods ?
Thanks for the help!
