I'm a declared Apple fanboy but for the first time since I own an iPhone ( I owned all models ) I'm thinking about switching to Android.
The only reason for that is real money poker. This way I could have some adrenalin with a real money game.
Any chance of Apple alowing that ever ?

6 months ago I would have said no chance but in the last few months Apple have approved a number of Sportsbook gambling apps for the likes of Betair, PaddyPower and Bwin. This proves that they have nothing against gambling, they just don't want to upset the Apple cart in the US where online poker is in a shady legal area.

I think once the whole legal situations gets cleared up in the US then we will definitley see iPhone poker apps. There is an iPhone real money poker room that you can play via Safari browser that doesn't require you to download anything. Here is some info on the Swith Poker app. Hopefully a native iPhone app will appear sometime in 2011.
