Fullscreen movie in QT, appearing dock

I am one of the new mac switchers and so far I have been more than happy with my new mac However I have one little problem : When playing movie in Quicktime (using Perian) and in fullscreen mode, after several minutes (cca 20) the dock shows up and it is quite annoying. This happens only on external monitor connected to my Macbook. When I used Macbook internal LCD, it was fine.
I haven't tried turning the dock hiding on because I like to have the dock visible when doing normal work (ie. not fullscreen).

My dock only shows up when I have the mouse near it when watching a full screen QT movie. Where is your mouse cursor?

Thanks for reply, I have tried changing cursor position but without any effect. But it seems that the problem was caused by running Leopard mail which was checking for new mails and probably refreshed his icon and that brought the dock to the front.
After shutting down the mail app it seems to be OK
