Hey guys,

I'm planning on using my MBP/Photobooth at an event where I would have people take pictures of themselves (because Photobooth is fun and will attract people).

My question is... Is there a "skin" or app or plugin that will take make Photobooth FULLSCREEN? I want it to hide the operating system... just full on Photobooth action.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had much experience with PhotoBooth but, you could try software designed for kiosks, hotels, etc... that hides the operating system and just lets you use a couple of applications you choose.

They're usually based around a web browser, but you might get them to work with just PhotoBooth. The one I've used the most is called SiteKiosk. I used it on a PC, but maybe they have a Mac version. Anyhow, there are a bunch of these kiosk programs around.

Also, since it willl be used by a lot of people and you will probably not be there most of the time I assume, I would advice you to install DeepFreeze. It's a wonderful piece of software that runs in the background as soon as you install it. When you restart your computer, it returns to the state it was when you installed it. When I tried it on Windows, I even deleted files on the System folder, restarted, and it was like nothing happened. They have a Mac version too. I haven't formatted the 2 windows boxes I installed it in for about 2 years now, and they're used by guests on a 86 room hotel on a daily basis.

Cheers!

Fullscreen Photo Booth Software

You should take a look at Sparkbooth at http://sparkbooth.com

It is a fullscreen kiosk photo booth software with social media features so you can upload your pics to Twitter or Facebook.

I use this software for an event on my MBP and iMac, and it worked great with the built-in iSight!
