I know that the iPod manual says to charge for 4 hours before using it.
I was wondering if there's a similar rule for the MBP? Should I let it charge for a few hours before using it? Or would using it and using it while connected to the chord be the same thing as it charging without use? (Like it is for game controlers)

Yeah, richthomas is right. Charge it up completely in one hit and then discharge it completely without reattaching it to the adaptor for maximum battery life. Follow his link for calibration and do that roughly every month or two if you don't do it naturally through normal use. :)

Yes, but do you recommend I do or don't use it while it's charging? =(
Does it matter? =(

It doesn't matter for both. :)

You sure?
So I can use it as soon as I buy it? :D
Awsome! :D
Also, I'll be sure to let the battery run off as soon as I'm done charging, and complete the calibration process!
Thanks so much guys! I didn't even know there was such a thing as calibrating a laptop battery! :p
