Fun summer plans for a student?

Hey all.

I'm taking one class this summer and doing an internship at roughly 16 hours/week. I will be working/going to class from 9:30 to 5 PM each day. SO... I am limited to weekends or evenings during the weekdays.

I am trying to brainstorm some fun (cheap) things to do for the summer. Hopefully I'll be able to meet a cute girl along the way, but no guarantees! Ideas to fulfill the life of a young college guy like me?

Mini road rips if you can afford it!

When I was in college I was lucky to be in an area with quite a few interesting attractions within a few hours drive. I could never afford to stay overnight but maybe once or twice a year, but I did lots of day trips.

That's not how you do it. You're supposed to all sleep in the car or under the stars, or at least in a tent.

I am a recent grad who is waiting on some job search results, and in the mean time I'm building a boat!

If possible, attend a major music festival. In 10 years you will look back on the artists you were able to see and pee yourself. Trust me.
