Hey!

I have a problem with stolen iPhone. I changed all my passwords and activate Find My iPhone, but there is "Erase phone" button. My consern is that if I erase my iphone, does the thief can use my iphone whitout limits after that or icloud lock still remains? I know that I can't see my iphone again, but I don't want that this thief can use it too. How does the "Erase iPhone" work?

Regards,
Kaspar

Hi, no the thief won't be able to use the phone if you erase it, if you have activation lock on the phone when the thief turns it on he will be asked for your Apple ID and password to let him use it.

When erasing the iPhone remotely you have to understand that you can no longer track it

Jon8214 is correct.

However, whatever you do, do not click on the " remove from iCloud button ". If you do that, then you sold or gave away the iPhone and whoever has it can use it
