My mac function keys refuse to behave as function keys in the primary account.
I have the checkbox for use as standard function keys selected. In the 'test' user account it still works. In my main user account (with all the games and such) it doesn't. I assume there must be a corrupt preference file or something but don't know which one. Permissions repair doesn't help.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can play my old DosBox Games again?
Okay its worse. I even deleted the preferences and it still doesn't fix it. What could conflict with it?

Okay I have an additional clue: the problem is ONLY f1 and f2, the screen brightness keys. All the others do the standard functionality fine. And again, with those 2 its only in the one account.
