Hi there,
A few months ago, I installed Leopard on an external HD and paired my aluminum iMac's BT Mighty Mouse with it, naming it with my dotmac username. Afterwards, I went back to my iMac's built-in HD, erased the external drive, and paired the Mighty Mouse again with the iMac,. Since then, it has retained the previous name under the BT menu and displays no name and battery level under the Bluetooth section of the Keyboard & Mouse preferences. Over the last month, when I wake the computer from sleep the mouse is often very jittery and sometimes stops working altogether. To fix the mouse I have to turn BT off and on
I have unpaired and paired the mouse several times and tried new batteries, but it still retains my dotmac username, fails to display a name and its battery status in the Keyboard & Mouse preferences, and is jittery when the computer wakes from sleep. Any ideas how I can straighten this out?
Thanks!
