Funny dock problem

Been having trouble with dock. It sometimes turns off its auto-hide setting without me doing anything with prefs. If I turn hiding on/off it makes no difference. I have to manualy show/hide by apple+alt+D.

I have to restart to fix. I've tryed dumping my dock pref file, but problem keeps reappearing.

Anybody get this?

Do you have any theme changers or Dock hacks installed?

nope, never bother with any of that stuff. I like to run a clean ship.

Okay, do you notice this happening after opening a certain app like Aperture or one of the Pro apps or perhaps something third-party?
